I just want to thank all the men and women who serve our country. We are such a blessed nation. We only have these things because of you. We get to live this wonderful life because of you.

CRASH AND BURN!

Well, what a week.  Our home loan fell through.  It's a tremendously long story but basically we weren't granted an extension that we needed to clear something up on our credit that had to do with our short sale a few years back.  We will hopefully clear it up soon and just pick a new house.  Ty and I are a little heart broken. We had totally fallen in love with that house and had discussed many times all the wonderful things we would do to it and all the happy years to come living in it.  We are both romantics and follow our heart sometimes more than our head.  We regret letting ourselves fall so hard. So we are trying to be positive shake the dust off and keep moving forward.  God must have a better house and a better plan for us.  Maybe this all happened so we can get everything in order so when the next house comes we will be ready. Either way, we have a wonderful family and are grateful for such a blessed life.

We are looking forward to visiting Tyler's parents this weekend that have come home from their two year mission to Ghana Africa. It will be so fun to have a weekend away and visit the family.  We can't wait to hear all the stories!

New House

This is going to be our new house!!! We feel so blessed to have found this beautiful gem in such a great location. It is so much more than we have ever had for living space and yard space. We are still in shock that the bank accepted our offer. To be fair it is a little dated inside and out but we are excited to have a project(s) for years to come. The kids are excited to have such an awesome house and yard. I'm sure it won't be long 'til they "hound" us into getting a dog. We have already met one of the neighbors  and she was so nice that she offered to share their irrigation water until we can manage to get a share of our own(which she thinks will be impossiblez). We are scheduled to close on the 16th of August and we are already trying to prioritize the project list. With the carpets clean and some fresh paint on some of the walls we will be ready to move in before the end of August. We are so grateful that we get to buy a house again. We have gained such a testimony of tithing and prayer, that the Lord will truly help you get what you want/need when you do what's right and ask with a sincere heart. Here's some pics...enjoy!!
Our (Soon To Be) New House!

Come On In
Mind the cactus!
(probably project number one:loading up the cacti and hauling it to the dump)

Front Room
Upstairs Guest Vintage Bathroom
dont you love the blue
Amelia's Room
Trevor's Room
Master Bath
Master Suite
The carpet matches the guest bath!

Dining Room
Pizzaria anyone?

Kitchen

Laundry Room
"Woman cave"

Utility Room/office
"Man cave"

Garage
Complete with 220V welder plug-in!

Family Room (downstairs)
Carpet is missing due to a minor sewage problem, tree roots, that we hope the bank is paying to fix.

Storage Room (downstairs)
DRY SAUNA!

Mina's Room/Guest room (downstairs)
This is just a pic of the closet, not her room, Tyler missed taking one of the actual room but to paint a picture, the entire room is covered with that b-e-a-u-tiful wood paneling!

America can only exist, if everyone has the opportunity to have a yellow and a blue vintage bathroom. You may notice the wallpaper that pulls the yellow and blue bathrooms together, much like a Gucci clutch and heels can pull a Stella McCartney Oscar's dress together.

BackYard (view from back corner looking at the house)
The back section is fully fenced with chainlink and will be an excellent place to rake the dog poo out of the grass.
The End
Your welcome to come visit anytime once we move in. We are so excited because we will have a place for people to stay with us!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! This year has been a great one! Our kids are growing and healthy and happy. Who could ask for more! We've had a little scare with the river possibly flooding and a dam breaking but it seemed to all pass and not affect this area to much. Sadly 6 houses washed away a little further south of here in Beaver Dam. Our hearts sure go out to those people. How devestating to lose your home right before Christmas.

At my parents Christmas party this year.. guess who was Santa? My dad. So the kids got some cute pics.

Amelia loved Santa so much!! She was so happy! And not afraid at all!

When we were leaving I said, "Trev were you so excited to see Santa?" And he said, "yeah, and Santa is Grandpa!" He now believes he is the luckiest boy in the world!
Mina doesn't believe in Santa anymore and promptly asked him for a broken leg in a sarcastic tone. (she is still pretty mad about the whole Santa thing) But she was happy that it was grandpa and that made her smile in the end!

We love all our family and friends and we would like to tell you all we love you and wish you a very Merrry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Trev's Birthday Party!

This is Trev and his Dad!! Trev is now 4 years old! Can you believe it? He is growing so fast. He is such a good boy!! We sure love our Trev.

Here are pictures of his party!........

The presents...

The cupcakes and gift bags....

We had a dragon themed party and of course I forgot to get a picture of the awesome dragon pinata we had. But Trev saved the head and I found him hiding in his room (while his party was still going) playing with it. He was embarrassed so he hid his face.

Opening his many presents...dragons, dinosaurs, books, cars...lots of fun stuff.

That's our big boy!!! Happy Birthday Trevor Wayne! Your the best!
